Have you been wondering where you buy It Works body wraps? Do you have to go through an It Works distributor? Can you buy them straight from the company? What about eBay?

It Works Global is the company that makes the It Works Ultimate Body Applicator. I like to call them body wraps.
When a company makes a product, it has several options on how to market that product. It can spend a fortune on advertising (print, billboards, TV, the internet). Then, when you go to the store and see thousands and thousands of products, company officials cross their fingers, say a prayer and hope you buy their product.
Or
It can set up as a direct marketing company and depend on an army of independent distributors to get the word out. Instead of putting money into the advertising and media companies’ pockets, the money goes to the distributors in the form of a commission (just like most salespeople make commissions).
The ItWorks body wraps are sold through a network of independent distributors (I’m one!). It Works global is a direct marketing company.
So what happens if you go to the main, corporate page of It Works and buy a box of body wraps? Are you skipping the middle man? Do you get them cheaper?
That’s a big fat no for both questions. You pay the exact same price. And, if you buy from the It Works corporate site, you will be randomly assigned an It Works independent distributor.
Just like in life, there are all types of distributors, some who treat their customers like they’re the No. 1 priority (I do!) and their business professionally (like me!). And there are some who thought they knew a few people who would do well with the business, so they signed up, but they never got properly trained and don’t give it much effort.
If you get randomly assigned to that kind of person and you have questions, they probably won’t get answered. And you can’t switch distributors, so you’re kind of stuck.
As for eBay, I’ve written a whole column about the danger of buying there (and from swap meets). Don’t do it! You have no idea if the wraps have been properly stored, and storage does affect ultimate results.
So if you want to buy some wraps, either as a Loyal Customer for the wholesale discount, or without the commitment by paying retail, I highly suggest you buy from an independent distributor you trust.

It Works body wraps are the closest thing to magic there is. You won’t hear me say anything different. But every once in awhile, I come across someone who’s body seems stubborn to the amazing skin-toning properties of the It Works Ultimate Body Applicator.
The good news for some of you is that with a few tweaks, you can remove the obstacles, and soon, too, you’ll be singing the praises of the It Works body wraps and your friends will be dying to know how you did it.
So what are these reasons the ItWorks body wraps won’t work? Let’s take them one by one:
- You’re dehydrated. This one is super easy to resolve, yes? But depending on how water-deprived you are, it may take a few days to get your body up to speed with its hydration needs. And I’m not talking diet sodas or coffee. I’m talking pure, clean water. I’ve written many articles on why water is so important when using the It Works Ultimate Body applicator. So drink up! If this is your problem, we have found that people who take our advice can end up with the biggest results.
- Your skin has oils and lotions – or sweat – that clog your pores. I don’t care when your last shower was, if you put on lotions or oils in the area you want to wrap, the gel on the It Works Ultimate Body Applicators won’t absorb as well. The same thing applies if you use Dove soap (it’s one-quarter moisturizing cream, don’t forget!). Get yourself a bar of real soap and wrap clean skin with no lotions or oils on it. Our toner is an excellent product to use just before you wrap, or maybe some witch hazel, but that’s ALL I recommend.
- You’re constipated. I’ve covered constipation as well. Do your best to get things moving along! We’ve got products to help and seek medical advice if you think the issue is more than adding a little fiber to your diet (did I tell you our new shake, ProFIT has fiber, and it’s delish, and it has protein, and it’s low and sugar, and I’m in love?)
- Medical reasons. No. 1, see your doctor. I’m not a doctor. I have no medical advice whatsoever. However, I’ve been told people with auto-immune diseases and irritable bowel syndrome do not get good results. The It Works body wraps are a detox that work with your lymph system. If something is harming your lymph system, the It Works Ultimate Body Applicator may not give you the before and after photos you seek. For ANY medical questions (allergies, breastfeeding mamas and people with chronic diseases), I recommend you take the list of ingredients (find the ingredients here) to your doctor and have him or her give you the thumbs up or down. Deal???
There you have it. If Nos. 2-4 don’t apply, my bet is it’s lack of water that is your problem. Even people who think they drink enough water usually don’t. What’s the right amount? Take half your body weight and drink that in ounces each day. Yeah, that much.

It Works body wraps company has christened me a diamond!
OK, that might not make any sense to those of you who aren’t familiar with multilevel marketing. Each company calls their promotions a different name, but in general “diamond” promotions means that you’ve achieved a high status. It’s no different in the company that makes the It Works Ultimate Body Applicator.
Why would you care about “status?” Promotion is just another name for compensation, i.e. how much you get paid. In other words, the higher you move up in It Works Global, the more you get paid, just like in the corporate word, except we have kind-of silly names for it.

So if you’re looking to sell It Works body wraps, and you don’t know anyone personally who’s a distributor, how do you decide with whom to work?

Almost exactly a year ago, I was in my first training session to learn how to sell It Works body wraps and make lots of money.

Happy New Year, everyone from your It Works body wraps girl!!!
It’s time to put the holiday indulging behind us and start focusing on our New Year’s resolutions. For many of you, that includes losing weight. But perhaps we should focus instead on losing inches.
