I have previously mentioned how important it is to drink water while working with the It Works body wraps to achieve your goals. But how much? That’s what we’ll be discussing today.
You may know that the It Works Ultimate Body Applicator (what we call our body wraps) is a form of a detox. It gets in and lifts up all the impurities and toxins in our skin and even the fat cells just beneath the skin (that’s where we have them, ladies!). Then we drink a lot of water to flush them through our lymph system.
It’s not surprising, then, that water would be a key component of our wraps.
But did you know that although you only wear the wrap for an hour or so, it continues to work for 72 hours?! That means you also have to keep up your water intake.
That’s hard for a lot of people. For the most part, we don’t drink water. We drink beverages with sodium or sugar or caffeine. Or all three! But if you want to make the most of your It Works body wrap experience – and really, you should be drinking plenty of water of everyday – you have to drink water.
Lots of water.
Are you ready?
Halve your weight, then drink that amount in ounces. For example, I weigh 128 pounds, so I need to drink 64 ounces. That’s two liters! Not in an hour, mind you.
Straight from corporate, when you’re focused on a certain area of the body (say, the thighs):
“For best results, concentrate on the same area of your body every 72 hours for several applications before moving on to another target area. Be sure to drink half your body weight in ounces daily to help eliminate daily toxins.”
Toxins aren’t just from an unhealthy environment, diet or stress (although those definitely can produce toxins). They’re also just a normal waste product of cell activity. Everything that has energy produces waste, whether it’s your car, a nuclear power plant or your cells operating on a microscopic level.
Many of our products, and especially the flagship ItWorks Ultimate Body Applicator, are designed to remove these toxins. But you’ve got to drink your water!
Get your sexy back! You had it once. You can get it back!
